ok i moved it back and ill follow that tutorial, but im still confused why it broke now. ive had fo4 on program files before and ran f4se no problem

Program files is UAC. Stuff will get blocked whenever the UAC flags something (And it will flag something third party, like f4se, sooner or later)

As for why it flagged it now and not before? No clue, auto detections are inconsistent like that

i cant create a new drive, when i do it takes me strait to the file explorer and when i select the folder i want it doesnt show up

I ended up just reinstalling fo4 and it seems to have fixed the issue for now. The tutorial wasn’t helpful since my inputs didn’t match with the tutorial’s
