Wavelength's Schrödinger's PhD

My colleagues and I have come to somewhat of a disagreement. While they insist that Mark Wavelength has a PhD, or at the very least a degree, I cannot find any evidence of this besides internet theory. Speculation aside, I do believe Mark Wavelength Winters is very smart, however doubt his ability to be a sophisticated criminal and complete any education at the same time as both are costly and consume most of your ability to exist happily.

Is Mark a PhDinosaur? A smart skink? Did he spend his hours lizarding in the library, or did he let his villainous tendencies (komodo) drag(on) him down?

As one of said colleagues, I can confirm that I have gone through the first few episodes where Mark "Wavelength" Winters makes an appearance, and I can only find instances of "degree" when in reference to "degrees of failure". I would love to hear other people's conclusions, though!

To answer your question, I don’t believe that it is ever stated in an episode. While it’s not unlikely that Mark “Wavelength” Winters does have a Degree, it is not known.

In regards to Mark “Wavelength” Winters I believe he is quite intelligent and there is a possibility that he might’ve studied for a PhD before becoming a villain as it appears his own engineering of the Wavelength suits and other gadgets are very complicated and may not be achieved without higher education.

However, that is just a theory and I concur with the majority that it has never been stated whether Mark “Wavelength” Winters has a degree or not.

I have discussed with the council your question about the credibility of Mark Winters(A.K.A the supervillian Wavelength)'s obtaining a PhD, and unfortunately, we too, have not been able to come to a complete conclusion on this matter. However, we have been able to come up with some evidence to prove that the fact is true.

Examples such as:
His very complex suit and gadgets, both of which have very interesting functions and utility. One such feature was the grapples and rocket boots that were in his suit. This no doubt complex gadgets that must've took a genuis to build.
His smarts, such as him being able to escape prison so quickly after PD had gone to visit him and William had accidentally given him a pencil. Escaping even regular prison in very hard, but a super max prison for superheros? Now that will take a supergenuis to escape.

Thank you for your response! I do agree with your assessment of Mark "Wavelength" Winters' intelligence, especially considering in Prime Defenders season one there is significant evidence of him creating his own equipment. I hope we can receive answers someday from Mr "Bizly" GM.

Thank you for consulting with your council, as my colleagues (see above Awks "Awks" Awksbush) have not been so cooperative in searches for evidence. The evidence to his high intellect is once again proven here, and your arguments are well-grounded. However, acquiring a PhD is not always necessary for skills such as these, he may simply be a highly intelligent, self-taught individual.

My thoughts on this matter are that he had a son at a young age and has been performing acts of villainy for a significant length of time, and a PhD takes upwards of 5-6 years to complete. It seems unlikely that he has a formal education for this equipment; rather, he grew up with powers and had to learn to control and manipulate them on his own, and enhance them using equipment he engineered.

While both cases do have significant and valid arguments, I believe we will never truly know unless Mark "Wavelength" Winters or Mr "Bizly" GM care to enlighten us.

This is a thread regarding whether Mark "Wavelength" Winters has a PhD, or even just a degree. My colleagues and I initially started this conversation in email format as a joke, however I am afraid to say we have, in fact, committed to the bit. As unfortunate as it may be, I do promise we are normal and average JRWI enjoyers.

Additionally, many of us have been using our native languages, or indigenous languages to our countries as greetings and sign-offs. Hope this clears things up!
