theres a couple turns near the end which make it probably unoptimal
i think i found the way to make the bypass work theoretically
i think the pitch needs to be as close to parallel as possible to the kill plane/invis wall under it
so when you're going through the oob, you will clip through the invisible wall without one of your tires still being oob
i think at that spot the pitch should be ~150?

idk if i mentioned the detail here but
under the kill plane, there is an invisible wall that is very slightly under it facing the opposite direction
there are 2 variables i think made it happen there:
- the kill plane is closer to the ground, so it might give you less velocity when you interact
- the kill plane might be flatter but i haven't verified
oh and i guess the walls are less steep there as well
i wanna see what happens when i delete the invisible wall under it
Does the current ghost use the inputs from your successful bypass? Maybe try that if you haven't already

wait i think i figured something out but its entirely possible its a nothing burther
im not even going to correct that typo you can publicly shame that
on the successful bypass spot, the walls underneath protrude into the oob plane from below like the first image. where i've been trying it, it doesnt
the protrusion starts here, so maybe bypass is possible here?
i'll rethink how to do the start to align with that spot but might just be changing jump direction off the starting blips

also when i do it, gcf goes 0.000 -> 1.000
notably setting gcf to 1 beforehand doesnt seem to help
if that spot is the only one that works, the shroomspot can be on the grass
im gonna sleep, if u wanna try to get it faster i implore you to try (because this is a prelim)
i think i might do a solo flamerunner run if it can also bypass there

i also had an idea for the barrel roll setup part, basically right when the shroom runs out, you´d hit the wall and kill your momentum as fast as possible to set up br quicker

im not fully sure if flame can beat out shooting star but i think it might be slightly slower
the normal part of the lap might be slightly faster but i dont think it could do good at the lap starts
or if somehow an offroad vehicle can do better by doing the offroad cuts/start shroomless
i'm looking at it again and i fear that just like zipzip/magikruiser can just clip over the invisible wall faster
if its faster i might abandon this

gave up on trying to specifically get on top of the railing at the end and just went fast
is it even worth getting the trick on the tree

you can prob get a trick off the tree without losing a ton of ev but it likely won't be super low

ok so i held a supergrind on the tree to keep ev and speed and get the trick
