Can someone give me a brief run down of how awakening is supposed to work, more specifically, how I earn awakening points outside of the missions

Does that mean I wasted awakening points by not awakening immediately at 1500 or is it a different leveling system entirely? And thank you

Yes and no

Your unawake chars still contribute to the awakening exp gauge

But, lvl 1-70ish or more is pretty quick so you aren’t missing out alot

Also, you share awakening on all of your characters, so you will have your awakening levels intact when you switch to them - The only thing is that Main Class and Subclass need to unlock Awakening both separately (they will still share the levels after you unlock it).

If you use a Subclass Change Ticket on a character that has previously unlocked Awakening, you won't have to do it again on that character.

Does that mean I'm not wasting awakening points if I don't have it unlocked on my main yet? Or should I unlock it on my main ASAP? I have it unlocked on my sub class

its another system that has its own exp

its fine as long as one character is awakened all other xp helps awakening % even from non awakened alts / subs / main etc

generally the first round of awakening is a long haul because u have to meet the 6 requirements first, but others afterward is generally legend 1 / 2 and then awakening questline so they go faster.
