skin tone - usually you should go close to red or yellow side depending on who you're doing. max the brightness or decrease it a little to suit your tastes.

face
most face sets look derpy as hell but are actually all usable. MA actually requires you to make use of the sliders.

eyes - bring them closer together. lower the height but not too much as to not squish the face. angle, all depends on you and what you're making

chin - go far slightly big jaw but decrease the vertical. angle lets you choose the sharpness

eyebrows - do whatever the heck you want

cheeks - all depends on what you're making

nose - average size or smaller nose. move it close to the mouth

mouth - have it a little close to the chin
