they say its cheaper to gain ilvls this way than honing the normal way, which is true probably for the first 10 lvls, after that i highly doubt coz the amount of meter you gain on that scale is rng so it can move 1mm or so.. and they also showed how great success meter increase looks like on a +2 item and it wasnt much, maybe 30-40% of the total scale
