The problem with supports isnt even really a problem with the game's design overall, its more to do with the way the current raid system relies on chip damage to make supports needed.

The best way I've seen this handled in a trinity was wildstar.
Basically every single class had 2 specs that you could swap between instantly.
half the classes were capable of swapping to support the other half to Tank.

So everyone had access freely to tank or healer roles

its a marvelous design.

But a lot of developers are hard stuck that "multirole" is bad design.

There's lots of design choices they made in this game that I vastly prefer over playing something like WoW. this game was a significant step up over playing wrath classic.

FF14 was fun, but LA is a lot more engaging.

the system is fun overall, but difference between epic and legendary could be lower

either similar transmutes, so you get maxed epic easier, while having a lower ceiling with 4 / 8 per elixir down from 5 / 10 with legendary

or simply different levels to activate the sets with current things so its easier to get the boosters for it even on epic
