Punisher is still higher damage than predator, you just need to actually play the class now and not just click one button

Meanwhile pred is mash your head onto the keyboard and you do similar damage

There are so many ways to get screwed as punisher it is all about gage without it you are nothing no dmg no stagger 0
1 map teleport immuun flyup or dmg reduction and it sets you back 15 to 20 seconds the only reason im still doing some dmg is becouse support chans care for my pleas

At lauriel chars with timed stuff like surge or predator etc actually have to keep an eye on hp bar for when mech is coming, sometimes i dont even turn on predator at the start of lauriel if the party has high enough dmg since he quickly phases into first mech

Same for punish but its not the mechs that have me worried cuz theyre fixed but the instant transmission patterns that make theor hitbox dissapear for 5 to 10 seconds with no warning

Punisher is in the same boat as igniter and other burst chars who need a specific timeframe to burst and the boss to not move coz of either being entropy or having delayed hit on skills like doomsday, ideally you want a taunt char in party when playing one of those and a sup who pays attention to you and buffs on your burst to rly shine

It is rly good in organized parties and rly bad for pugs

Meta is always use food and carry dark+atro unless the raid really needs something else, burst always on the window of opportunity, at akkan that would be after every major mech when he is down so you have 10s of uninterrupted dps

Thing is.. eu/na doesnt like to bother even with battle items let alone food and other buffs while korea will use everything at their disposal, ive seen this in other kr games that were released in the west, its just the mentality of people... For example saint used to sit in peyto/fermata buying those wine bottles for atk/move speed while he had nothing else to do so he could stack them up and have them ready for raiding, youll almost never see anyone do that here
