Akkan right now I think I prefer playing Pally over Bard

i main artist and have bard as alt, i def prefer artist but it's the least "turn brain off" out of the 3 since needs active gameplay to be efficient

been told pally is the "turn off brain" and still do awesome 😂

So that’s a huge time saver

the annoying shit about supports in LOA is that the original intent of the game was to not have supps, just supportive DPS like GL/WD. then SG decided to balance the game around having dedicated supports, while claiming they see the role as a problem. they still haven't released anywhere enough support classes to have a shot at a balanced ratio, or make it any easier/more interesting to main support. more DPS goblinos get released while players are expected to make "sacrifices" to play support, so endgame pugging is miserable as a result

I mean it's like, the game needs somewhere around 1 support for every 3 dps. you can't make the game balanced around supports then have like 1 support for every 9 dps to pick from lol. it's just one of the problems with the role

people would still go 2sup coz if its 2 different ones the buffs would stack for more dps, not to mention shields coming from 2 sups and healing would make it even more OP, a spec bard could focus purely on dps buff windows while an artist or pally could heal, and in case if you take 1 sup it just means the moment that sup dies its a restart angle unless its near the very end of the run

im gonna be honest with you, when im doing akkan with randoms it makes me wanna quit the game, as if the lack of sups at that ilvl threshold isnt enough, most dps players have a REALLY bad uptime in all 3 gates but especially in g3.. it will probably take several months until the majority of the playerbase manages to overgear content so their gear carries their lack of skill or whatever you wanna call it so the runs actually become decently paced and not like it is now where if 1-2 people die it goes to enrage timer

The vast majority of players, especially in randoms, are average if you're lucky and below average most of the time.
