Sorry was scrolling up and realized i missed ur question. The umbrella tip (triangle) glow does NOT dye am told, otherwise both set of SPECIALIST wep fash supposedly dye the same. Guessing same for paintbrush.
As far as the fash sets for SPECIALIST go, i have both sets dyed. Both glitch.
For the PURPLE top found out that belt buckle little light stays pink and doesnt go pure white like everything else does on blue top.
For the BLUE set leggings the little 4 lights right above each knee stay light blue and do not go pure white like everything does on the purple leggings.
Other then that, the fash sets both dye identical for Specialist.
So, if u by chance want pure white for full set, get the BLUE top and the PURPLE leggings.
The hat is fine on both and dyes the same.

dont have any other pieces for any other races so cant speak to any others

Oh wait no, i do have Assasin legings, hat and fash wep all from the Mercury neon green set. All 3 pieces seem to dye fine but** cant get dual tone on wep blades** as on original (yellow green). Only ends up 1 color so kept as is even though i wanted the white handles to dye black. The single color blades would have lost the glow appearance if dyed.

I've always loves the 2nd hair but unfortunately it blocks ears all together and so cant ever see earing fash. Plus blocks cool make up. I like Hair 3 also but long hair clips fash a lot.
Picked #1 hair for several reasons ...

• cause long hair that goes over the shoulders to the front doesnt glitch with fash as much ...
• ears r exposed so can use earrings and see them ...
• since u used unusual make up then unusual hair goes with it (: plus it makes the 2 color shades(which look amazing btw) really pop 👍

It just depends on what u wanna do and what u like. Personally i like fantasy and always loved dark elves so my toons tend to have various shades of gray skin.
I love designing though and for friends and others i 1st find out what they like and dislike b4 making them a preset. That way they like what they end up with.
I would say dont do it if u r indecisive about it, only if u r sure.

I'm waiting for some1 to want a medium to dark gray skin "pretty" toon. Cause peachy warm pink make up looks amazing on that skintone xD

I use the top too and pants from the set with other mix and matched sets. Since skin is so dark on my toons, mine is white/silver with pale gray pattern on cape. Use it on Shadowhunter. Added some blue/gray touches to go off the blue tattoo and blue arm glow. But dont have the badass leggings u do xD ... im still a newbie

i think either looks really nice though i prefer hair 2 cause it allows u to highlight the front bang part and a "skunk" streak down the middle of the back xD It can be subtle for neutral tones or great for dramatic effect for the type of presets i tend to do ... so im a bit biased lol. But yeah, both look really nice, not surprised u r asking for input (:

I like top cause more original but i like the eye shape slightly better from the bottom pic.
1st thing i would change though would be the brow color since hair is white and make up black. Having brown eyebrows doesnt fit. Maybe make them charcoal? or some sort of gray shade to match makeup and hair tones better.
2nd thing u may want to try (after seeing what it looks like with new eyebrow color) is to reduce the harshness of the eyeliner by making it more of a smoky eye possibly?

Dont be afraid to even try looking at black for eyebrows, just dont do full intensity, just use for tint. Just as long as they are not darker then eye make up should be good

was thinking maybe just a slight hint or the orange bloom from center of lip but wasnt sure if the lip had full lipstick on it already or if the preset had that shade of lips

but yes i do agree the lip does have a warm tone already

only reason i dont do black vs gray skin is that its hard to see features on black color, but yeah the dark skin with white hair looks nice

also helps to emphasize the sparkle in the eye when skin is darker shade
