sidenote: for you copy cats out there, there's something ive wanted to say for quite some time:

first of all, im flattered when something I created is wanted. I feel the same toward other artists. and there are really 2 ways to respond to this:

1. take inspiration and make something original yourself.
if u respect the artist, you should not copy much. earn your original oc! its fun, challenging and rewarding. this is the best outlet for that inspo.

2. carbon copy rip off.

the latter shows a total disrespect to the original artist, and the work they put into making a unique creation. I would be ashamed to do this unless I had permission and gave credit where its due.

there is a lot of immaturity and naiveness going on here, and thats why ive held my tongue. my saying this isn't likely going to change a thing.

but I will say if you want to be respectful toward me or any artist you should create your own original works, or get permission. stealing is simply rude and disrespectful. and do not harass me or other artists when we say "no". we don't owe you anything.

but I want to leave this on a positive, so I'll share something personal. an alternative approach to copying:

when I can't create something as beautiful as another artist I simply challenge myself to grow. raise my standard, work harder and be more creative. with time and persistence you will grow. so earn it! and have fun while you do, you'll learn faster!

that preset went through a fair bit. cuz wanted to make glaivier since the start but never got to it. had MA blank char sitting there for a while. at first tried to carbon copy that short white hair red eye preset that everyone wanted so much but never brought myself to using it. so after few tries landed on that look and started working on it. to be fair though, surprisingly it's also a glaivier like mine so i can respect that gigachad doppelganger
