@crimson spoke in regards to the pin about the 75 token limit: that applies to the raw stable diffusion directly released by the researchers. Automatic1111's webui (the one used in voldy's installation guide) has an unlimited token count by using a workaround. it reads the tokens in batches of 75 and combines all the batches.

However, there are some side effects which is that tokens from different batches do not know about each other. This means that your generated image might be wonky if two tokens are supposed to be related but separated by batches. Also, fun fact: tokens at the beginning of your prompts have stronger effect on the result. But since the webui works in batches, the beginning of every batch has a stronger effect than the end of the batch.

The webui has an indicator to the right of the prompt area telling you how many tokens you have and which batch you are on (by showing a limit of 75, 150, 225, etc)

on a related note, i heard that similar tags should be close together for better results, but idk if thats just hearsay, a confusion due to this batch thing, or if theres evidence

this is why you upscale, lemme see what I can find, here's something I just did (not LOA related so pls don't bonk me - for education purposes only)

I started in txt2img and made this

mine doesnt go higher than 1024 so 1024 width is my width limit resolution

then I send that to img2img

same thing applies if you're already using img2img, just drag your rendered img from the right hand to the left hand side

in img2img you scroll all the way to the bottom where it has a scripts dropdown

select SD upscale

basically what this does is split your image up into tiles like a grid and does a manageable render on all of those and pieces them back together

at this stage you want to remove all specific things from your prompt so you just have style/artist/quality etc. otherwise it will try and render those specific things in every single tile, especially if you have a high noise setting

you want to keep the noise very low in this stage to keep the intent of your image, I'd use a range of 0.1-0.4 at absolute max if you wanna roll the dice, it also helps to crank the step count

from this stage I get this:

you can see it's both higher res and has more details

if you're happy with where it's at you can then 'send to extras' (the rightmost button under your render) for the final upscale

choose how much you want to upscale by and your upscaler and away you go

this step basically just ups the resolution and doesn't change much

the caveat to this is if you're doing something photorealistic you can play around with the GFPGAN and/or codeformer sliders. These are facial restoring models which will most likely make things look wonky unless you're working on an already realistic looking face

so the final result is very similar to the last stage but just at a higher res:

g1: stay south at 30hp and 15hp (let the driver get all orbs, so staying at the most southest edge, orbs wont target you), and stop your dps if sidereal isn't recharged at 17hp
g2: if you ask, driver might ping the location you need to be at to destroy pillars...and that's about it 🤔

vykas bus:
g1 (normal): have some timestop ready for the orb mech (which will fail but wont wipe timestoppers on normal)
g2-3: just dying since this one is more target heavy
