Weak point is when "Destruction" shows usually you break parts from bosses that needs X amount of weak point done to them for it to break

Destroying said weak points will usually lead to bosses getting stunned for a short duration, or you getting buffs

It just another type of damage, like regular damage depletes the health bar, stagger depletes the stagger bar, and weak point depletes the weak point bar. The stagger bar is sometimes visible but the weak point never is. Once the bar is depleted the boss either dies, gets stunned, or usually gets weaker in some way.

I haven't calculated the 17/17 cheese strat, but from when others have told me, its only slightly cheaper, the biggest difference being the orange stones because they go minimum hones on weapon

Just my opinion, but stats take priority over engravings. Engraving percentage buffs are calculated based off your stats, so you could be 5x3 but if your stats don't hold up, it won't matter.

There is definitely a demand for blue crystals without Pheons. Will it lower demand slightly? Probably. But Pheons aren't the only thing people use BC for.
