Thats subjective, you may be faster but all you did was get to the island faster to afk than I did. Most people like to just build estoque up to 7 and instead work on spamming coins with vertical progression, others like building astray to be 60 knots, theres no wrong answer.

if a player takes the box and then uses 10 items of a favored gift you get from wandering merchants than the value is still the same, we're just talking about time. So if you take the boxes x10 and only choose x10 gifts you can't get from wandering merchants then maybe, but still not really worth.

destruction stones are way more valuable as they're rarer than epic rapport items

doing lopang on 1 alt at t3 nets you about 60k silver w hich gives you 6 rapport items from 1 alt, take 3 alts that do lopang and you just gave 18 rapport items in 1 day, maybe not the favored ones from the box but it gives you an idea of how much you can really earn from wandering merchants if your efficient.

If you wanna tryhard it, do it on multiple characters everyday, and make it the ONLY daily on those characters. That way, your rest bonus for the next day will always reward you double chests. So everyday you can get two chances instead of one. You want 1 fish, 1 plant, and 1 meat out of the chest. The meat is the rare one, and what most people spend over a month farming. I got it after maybe a month of 5 characters doing it daily, although I didn't do the rest bonus thing.

BUT you also have the books that sell very cheap in comparison to the normal additional materials and give flat 10%. When it comes to additional materials it really depends on how much you have to spare. For armor general rule is: Use only green. For weapon always hone full.

Not quite right ill write down a summary for you:
You should ONLY use materials on your weapon. If you use them on armor ONLY use the green ones OR ONLY use Books. The Books provide you with +10% Chance. They are always cheaper than the other additional mats.
1340-1370 is a dead zone where the game WANTS you to Focus on your alts. If you do that its up to you. But you have to take out your credit card if you dont.
Never Hone when you run COMPLETLY OUT OF GOLD. Always have a bit in your pocket. You should ALWAYS have at least 500g in your pocket.

Here’s a chart to see how much on average it would take to get to 1460. 1470 is not a big milestone so there’s no specific number but you can look at 1475 instead. Just on estimate on my part since I have 2x 1340 alts and played every day, I would say it’d take you 1 month if you have average luck with honing since you have 4 alts.
