powerpass is just a level skip basically

the 2 passes you got from finishing vern/shushire are just to move up 2 characters to level 50 through shushire immediately

there is a 3rd one you can get until the end of the month for free assuming you make it through feiton by then, which you should unless you dont play much

powerpass and express pass aren't the same type of thing despite the similar names

the only one with a time limit is feiton. i don't recall if you can use the feiton pass without first using the vern powerpasses. i'm a little confused by your question though , you don't use it on a main. you use the powerpass to get an alt up to level 50 and having finished all zones through vern/shushire and with fresh 302 gear

also auto completes all the quests up to that point for that character

it can also be useful to just create some slave alts with the powerpass to do una's tasks even if you dont want to play or push them yet. otherwise it takes an eternity to finish any reputations

powerpasses and express pass have nothing to do with each other

powerpass is a character level /item level boost that directly "boosts" that character up to that content. express pass is a set of rewards a character receives

powerpass gets used on a fresh level 1 character and makes it level 50

and 302 item level, and finished with shushire

sure. as i said, you can always consider using the powerpasses now just to make alts to do some extra dailies like una's tasks but it's not necessary. the only powerpass that will have an expiration is the feiton pass, which you don't have yet, but will get when you finish main story in Feiton (last T2 continent)

so if i put up 10 items for 20 gold each, i pay a 20 Gold deposit to list. they sell, i make 200 Gold total - 20 Gold Fee + my 20 Gold deposit back=200 Gold

for gear there is also a fixed pheon cost required to purchase items which depends on the tier and some other factors

you can only play on same server for open-world content, all instanced content like dungeons are region wide

matchmaking is generally fast in this game . for much later content thhere is a support shortage that holds up queues a bit

so, assuming you have already selected your region, your server will only affect some contents like islands, chaos gates, world/field bosses- ie open world stuff.

all of the main raid/dungeon content as well as pvp is instanced and you can play with anyone in your region

Auction House/market is also regional

i would recommend EUC over EUW if you haven't chosen

Of these, i recommend you use dyorika waterwheel or awning, as they are cheaper in silver/hour than the other two. I would just between the two based on whether timber or ore is more expensive, as one uses half timber and half ore, the other is all timber

That was always the case. The trick was to copy the gear tripod like 3/3 into your inventory then overwrite the tripods on your equipped gear.

I remember seeing NPC have 'relationship' tab (which is removed I think) basically this NPC hates that NPC if you go rapport them at the same time it will decrease the other one rapport, same goes with NPC that in a good relationship with another if you increase this NPC rapport it will increase them too

Personally, I think both Argos and Valtan are rough. Argos cuz really fast and random mech's in p1. Valtan cuz endurance, needing to play it for hours to pass

I'd argue valtan is the better designed fight, it's less random charges, but a lot of patterns that can be recognized. You won't at your first 1415 char of course. Argos felt easier overall, but it was three Arghos fights spread over 2-3 weeks, so you were experienced for p1 when you cleared p3 the first time. Valtan is more in the same week. Valtan has no hard group-wipe, so it's easier to see the end after your own or anyone's mistake.

you would need to look up what engravings your class plays. there are only 2 choices and you probably cant go very wrong you will want to read 20 of each anyway

ok if you have 20 green class engraving books i would open 20 reflux or igniter and equip it to your engraving book slot

either choice is viable. igniter is a more bursty playstyle with less mobility as its specialtty arcane rupture is boosted. reflux gives up arcane rupture and you just use specialty for blink but damage is more consistent

and open 20 green engraving books and equip igniter in both slots for level 1 igniter

Neither choice is viable because you don't have the spec or crit to make the investment worth it. Might as well pick spirit absorption, or better yet, keep the pouches and or sell the ones that are tradable for gold

Instead of worrying about engravings which will give you 0.5% more power at best at this stage, focus on progressing through the story and getting to grips with all your skills and tripods

i think its fine to open up 20 books and equip an engraving when he's in T! level 460 already, but yes it doesnt matter that much
