Continents' MQs are the ones who give the most combat exp imo so it shouldn't affect you too much (and boss rush, raids etc)

adventure tome is roster XP. its a very sizable amount of roster XP actually. i believe island quests are typically roster XP IIRC

Yes. I received mostly roster XP. That's why I am wondering if I will miss any combat XP since I am still using my main to complete all of the yellow mark side quest.

yellow mark side quests aren't for the adventure tome. there are only 2 side quests on each continent that apply towards the adventure tome, the ones labelled "another story". generally yellow mark side quests give virtues, stat potions, a few give skill points, etc

100 pheons is 850 blue/purple crystals (what do we call them again). so 1 pheon is 8.5 crystals. 95 crystals are about 700 gold

so 700 gold purchases about 11 pheons (on NA East) hence 1 pheon is about 62 gold right now

and then once youve finished yorn, done the yorn chaos dungeon and acquired a set of T2 gear, gear transfer your old T1 +15 gear onto the chaos gear for 1 free level. after that, once youve done abyssals you MAY choose to craft abyssal gear (transferring honing progress from the chaos dungeon set) but if you plan on finishing T2 quickly (can be easily done through extra resources from islands on your 1st character) you can save yourself some silver by just using the chaos gear for all of T2

go through all the parts, guide is not complete yet. i dont know of a full guide but this will get you started. for the zones not covered you could check lostarkcodex.com for quest list and look for ones that are started by an object typically but its a bit of a pain

technically, in a vacuum Dyorika Waterwheel is the best of the 4 without considering relative costs of timber and ore, which you'd need to check on your AH. Waterwheel costs 2500 silver per hour of crafting. But awning costs barely more (2667 silver per hour) and only requires logging materials (10 timber per hour) whereas Waterwheel requires 5 timber and 5 ore. so if timber is cheaper than ore on your AH, awning is better. Urr's bench and Neria's board are worse (more silver per hour of crafting) versions of Waterwheel and Awning, respectively

Because of the failure system, you would lose a TON more gold by doing it that way, if you want to follow that suggestion, use them at the beginning to lose less gold. i gave a long answer to this previously if you want details, but quickly, its worse to upgrade your maps, assuming you can run both in groups

purple gives 2 times reward of blue but requires 3 total blue maps (2 "food" maps and the 1 being upgraded) to upgrade at 100 percent rate, so you will on average be losing rewards by upgrading ASSUMING you can find map groups for both

gold gives 3 times rewards (approximately) of purple but you need 6 total purple maps (5 "food" maps and the 1 being upgraded) for 100 percent chance of 1 gold, so same is true

its better to upgrade though if you can run find groups for the gold but not for the purple/blue because the amount of materials you lose from not running in group is greater than the amount of materials you lose on average by upgrading.

(i havent factored in trying to upgrade at non-guaranteed levels, fwiw. also running all the blue/purple maps takes extra time but i cant really factor that in)

yeah. you would only need to worry about what the other chars are doing is if youre trying to spread out your alts to max rep gains. like if i have 5 alts, i can theoretically advance 18 different reps that day (if each does a different quest) if im not that conerned about rushing to finish rep, i can have a bunch of chars do leapstone quests so i get the most mats for each of my characters

the time you'll take depends on if the group and you are new to the raid, how fast you all learn and if you are going 100% blind or watched a guide at least

a usual run is less than 1 hour for both for experienced people, 2-3hrs for pugs that know mechs and watched a vid and 8+hrs, probably, if you're 100% blind
