Yes except for the 6 skill points you get each time that characters combat level goes up, those are for each individual char. So a level 55 char will have 30 more skill points than a level 50 char

Rapport and Adventure Tome is completely unrelated to class. Well I guess SS actually benefits a fair bit by Judgement but that is so far off that it doesn't even matter. Both Rapport and Adventure Tome is just horizontal stuff you do when you got nothing left vertically to do e.g. actually progressing your ilvl.

I assume Guardian HP is scaled linearly with number of players (i.e: 4 players = 4xHP).
All classes have skills that either buff teammates or the damage enemies take, making the average damage output higher when in a squad, so even if they get 4xHP you deal more than 4x damage.
There's also the factor of teammates helping distract the Guardian so it doesn't spend as much time attacking you.
