It's a strange "protection" measure they added. Basically sometimes people would run low level abyssal dungeon on an alt before they ran the abyssal dungeons on their main 6 higher level chars, and they would accidentally get gold on that alt. This pick a char thing protects you from this mistake :p

I'd assume it's if you have more then 6 characters. Lets say your T1 character runs an Abyssal Dungeon and claims gold. Woops, now your T3 character can't get it for the week

Because multiple people have more than 6 characters can earn gold so this ensures the correct ones only get it so you don't accidently lock gold on a lower ilvl character.

Any dps in the game. Just don't be a bad player and you'll easily MVP. My worst alt is 321 GS at i1340 with TTH which people consider garbage and I MVP with 40%+ every single run even 50%+ vs x3 other dps every single day.

A couple hundred various tests show that the SV maps have slightly higher drop chances, which makes sense though considering the higher cost to make. Cost to make the maps though still just barely breaks even if at all.

Glaivier does solid damage, and pinacle spec just got buffs to red attacks so their damage has gone up. They aren't top damage like sorcs, but still respectable damage. Destroyer is still very hit or miss in that they can do very good damage, while also doing stupid stagger/weakpoint, but can also easily just whiff everything due to slowness. Their perfect swing tripods are also currently bugged to do 0% damage.
