imagine something like you crafting 1 quality gear. quality upgrading will have a higher chance to upgrade your gear to a number higher than 1, which is the same roll as if you were crafting a new piece, so it doesn't matter what quality your gear crafts with in the grand scheme of things.

Maybe you can switch to casting sorc to get more used to the casting skills before you switch to igniter

You can cast doomsday and then pop arcane rupture, or you can pop arcane rupture and take advantage of the cdr to take some skills off cooldown and then do your rotation.
