oop, missed that you're a bard. Bards have it even easier in that weapon quality isn't as important as it is for DPS classes. Bards need better armor quality since it affects their HP, which in turn affects how much shields they give since those skills scale with HP

it's also why stone rarity and more pips enabled helps a lot since it also gives a lot of HP that gives beefier shields

It's similar to a powerpass but more specific, you need to reach the ilvl for Yorn on the alternative character then you can use the Knowledge Transfer (KT) to auto-complete Yorn story quests after 8-hour wait time with 1100 gold as the cost. But it only completes Yorn story itself and no other continents.
