Honestly play whichever you like more bard is less tanky and has to be more hands on (since our identity generationskills are melee range), Paladin is more laid back.
Pretty much all parties would take any support regardless.
Paladin also has more stagger I believe and more movement skills.

its 1 debuff type which gets applied from 2 different skills, it doesnt matter which skill applies that debuff, they dont stack to like 20%, it stays on 10%, you press the first skill and wait until debuff runs out then you press the second skill to apply the debuff again, dont press both skills right after each other - same for your attackpower buffs

former genshin player here. Lost ark took it's place and I'm much happier. There is something in the game called "rest bonus" so if you don't play for a day or even a few days you still progress at a decent rate, whereas in genshin it felt like a complete loss here it isn't so much the case

yeah, not the case here. Now is actually the best time to play there is an event going on right now called the "Express Event" I believe it ends in July. Basically you will speeddd through levels and story progression IF you want to bum rush it. Or you can make a main, relax on that main and then take advantage of the event on a secondary character

You get daily entries towards xxx content or one weekly entry etc, you get material rewards for upgrades, purchase those materials with gold or wait till another day to.get more materials.

Additionally you have the option of variety in the form of multiple characters, those alt characters can feed your main character so that they can progress faster.

If you feel the need to progress faster than you do already at later content in the game, you have the option of using your wallet to catch up a little but I wouldn't recommend It unless you have a really good Job.

the grinding is nothing short of intense I'd say. It truly depends on how 'efficient' you want to be. If you want to be at max efficiency that means doing dailies every single day. This includes 3 daily tasks (quick quests), 2 guardian raids (monster hunter style bosses - these can take a while), 2 chaos dungeons (hack & slash dungeons - very quick). Those are the main three sources of daily grinding. After that there are additional sources, you can infinite grind in chaos dungeons if you like it so. There is for sure RNG in this game, it actually hinges on RNG. When you are increasing your gear score you have a chance to increase your level depending on how far you've progressed, so a failed hone can set you back a day or two. Speaking as someone who did play at a fully optimized pace (doing all daily grinds every day since launch) and for the past 2-3 weeks has stopped with that, it is not anywhere near a requirement to force yourself into the daily grind.
