Glow does not carry over, unfortunately. You’d have to get the ancient gear to +20, and if you grind the Esther stones on Brelshaza hard, it glows at +8 1620

When you reach level 20 in excavating each 5 digs you get something called a minigame where it is like a small challenge and it gives you more materials from that dig
