"your group can quit" you can't just quit and obtain rewards, you have to vote with group, so for p1 its best to go in with just matchmaking since most everyone in matchmaking is only going to do p1, then vote to quit to get rewards.

are your damage numbers similar when you hit different bosses? if yes, then their defense stat is all the same, if no, then defense varies

from what ive seen it's all pretty consistent, but yes monsters do have defense, the proof is that gunlancer has a debuff that reduces the enemy's armor

from what I see I always hit the same (it varies a tiny bit but it's probably just the variantion they add with each attack so you dont hit the exact same everytime)

that problem is steam's fault then, if steam/lost ark doesn't close properly, steam loses track of the folder it's installed in and you have to manually redirect it to the lost ark folder

Basically you want to get to 1370 asap because you can make more gold after that. But while you're on that path to 1370 you can sell tradable honing mats and get gold from normal abyss unless you decide to spend all your gold to push to 1370.

Fake news. Life is very useful for lots of reasons. But it's not a focus until you are Lv50 and start to get on your feet a bit. Lots of other stuff has higher priority early on but it's still good to take maybe 20-min on e.g Lullaby Island as already mentioned for materials.
