from what i've read online some people say it does, some people say it doesn't. there was a diff system at one point in the game dev in terms of chances to get one and that changed. based on my exp having 72% world tree leaves, i've never gotten one without leaps essence. I'd say it doesn't but i would use leaps regardless, especially if you're not lv30 on all skills
