na it's not super obvious in the midst of the fight, but once you see he becomes immune to dmg at around ~12bars, you go to your designated area(or an empty spot if you didn't select spots early), with the boss still on your screen and wait for the pattern to pop then you go to a safe spot

grudge is 100% not worth it unless you have it at lv3, because you always be getting the 20% increased dmg but only like 4% damage to bosses at lv1, the stone is fine just for the HP it gives alone, later on you will get purple and legendary ones with more base HP, dont worry too much on engravings until later on

the Select Legendary cards are actually extremely important for late end game, save them, dont even think of using them for now (or the next months). for now dont mind cards, you can learn a bit about them but they're not something that will spike your power instantly in a day

cards are a very long term thing you will get with time, slowly
