there is a cap, resists only work off tresholds, if you get from like very weak to weak, you get better, but moving from weak to weak doesn't matter. The cap is then the highest resist tier, but since you get -60 in lvl 4 waters, it's more or less impossible to reach it for more than one thing at a time I think. Highest tier is Strong, as +60(so you need +120 to get that in lvl 4 waters)

You refine your 302 gear to +8 average to reach 460 but you’ll need to refine more to +15 everything to get 600 ilvl for t2. You get epic/legendary gear from abyss dungeons but they’re still base 302 ilvl and you transfer your current gear onto them so you don’t lose honing lvs
