the only thing to keep in mind when you are excavating, fishing or hunting is the region you dig/hunt/fish in will yield their respective rare mats. ie in Feiton, you get Caldarr T2 rares while in Punika, you get T3 Oreha rares. for the other lifeskills the only thing that differs is the possible purple nodes being locked behind trade skill level, but if you are level 2, it doesn't matter at all
