Might be worth changing some runes and cards if you're struggling or rly rly care about MVP. Bosses have weakness, some weak some extra weak. IIRC its like 5% and 10% more dmg from that element type. Still unsure how that relates to stagger dmg as well

stagger is a type of non-hp damage, ytoull notice skills can have a 'stagger: high' or something skill fact; this means they deal a lot of stagger damage... theres two types of stagger bars; some bosses (and all guardians) have a general stagger bar thats always active (in abyss dungeons this is the bar under the bosses health bar), but theres also time specific 'stagger checks' where you have to inflict a set amount of stagger in a short period to prevent the boss doing something (usually a wipe... but also stuff like the helgaias will get stronger/faster if you dont stagger them when theyre trying to power up)... you can see the stagger check bar in abyss dungeons (yellow bar on the boss model); you cant see the stagger check bar in guardian raids

im not 100% on the difference between combo and chain; my understanding is that chain skills can proc stuff like runes on each activation and you dont need to immediately activate them again (whereas combos you have to use all the hits in succession)

it's not really a higher chance, it's just you take less damage, the advantage of doing 17 gloves 17helm 17 shoulders or 17/17/13 variation is that you still have 1415 defense level, while having more attack than 15 all, but when you do 17 weapon, you have 1409 defense, but more damage, as I said it's kinda like an additional grudge

you'll still have 1415 lvl to enter, just your defense level are equal to 1409 so you take extra dmg like when you enter argos or oreha at lower lvl, but without the blocks(since your attack is higher)

At what point is Raid Captain a good deal? Is it always good if you have max swiftness and spirit absorption 3? Or do you need other movement buffs to get more out of it than say, Hit Master or Grudge

well you get 18% extra dmg at the max speed of 140%, goes down to 13.5% at 130%

if you're lower than cap, just multiply your speed bonus(above 100%) by .45 and you'll figure out how much % it gives

After the guardian raid die, it spawn an orb in the floor, that is harvest orb. You interact with the orb by pressing G or left click it, you get loots from it. You can enable or disable harvesting before entering the raid. If you disable, there will be no orb after the raid boss die. You can max harvest in 2x raid boss daily. If you have 20 rest bonus when you enter the raid, there will be 2x harvest orb after the boss die, and the 20 rest bonus will be consumed/gone. For each of the daily entry miss, you gain 10 rest bonus next day. You can store up to 100 rest bonus. Aside, as you play along, don't skip or spam G or leftclick if you are doing guide quest. Read them. They teach a lot about the game functions.

you can research higher honing% for alts when your main is in the next tier

yeah, once your main hits 802, you go into your stronghold to research the stronghold honing buff for t1 and then continue to work on your alts slowly. Your main is still your primary focus, though

you can put those mats in one of your alts while honing on other char, or sell it to mechant and buy back when done (not recommend if Dc then its gone)
