However they always seem to have low Adaptation for me
If you hit SS on a dispatch it might even double your seals gained, so the lower list ones are still pretty good

they're not the same, heavy armor will cancel SOME of the dmg, but lvl 1 heavy armor isn't a flat 20% dmg reduction like grudge, it modifies your defense modifier or whatever so the amount it reduces is actually a bunch lower than 20%
