dont worry about faceting that much early game, focus on leveling up and clearing the main story, you get those stones in chaos dungeon/raid guardians or doing some daily missions called Una's tasks, but that's all starting lv50, for specific sorceress questions you also may want to give yourself the role and ask in the specific sorc channel, #navigation

I wouldn't worry about the faceting stone until you hit lv50, reason being a lot of the bonuses are minor and wouldn't be much of difference, just facet and equip what u have for the extra HP

Depending on how much mats you have. I think most of the honing calculators recommend using protection stones. However I don't have a lot so I just save all my protection stones and make using it on my Weapon a priority because it cost more mats on the weapon.

Like I have:
Battle Item Selection Chest - Gives x3 awakening potions and other purples, or 6 grenades, or 10 blue ports, or varying levels of other blue consumables
Buff Item Selection Chest - x2 awakening or adrophine or x15 flag/prot pot/swiftness robe
Healing Battle Item Chest - HP pots / Panacea
Utility Battle Item Chest - various amounts of all of these... different amounts than some of the other chests I think
Offensive Battle Item Chest - x6 grenade or x5 bomb

It's fairly obvious that there's an optimal choice here. I doubt I'd ever wanna take a bomb/grenade from anything besides the offensive battle item chest since they give tons of that stuff away and so I have tons of chests. Same for Utility chests, I feel like anything I can get from this chest I'd be better off taking from this chest first versus the "Battle Item Selection Chest" (Though when we keep going down that road I'm basically left with the awakening pot or purple robe I guess)

I think it boils down to what's best to take from the Battle Item Selection Chest which has basically everything in it ... I'm figuring based on "what you'll actually use" and "market/material prices to craft" there's something that's best value / most money saved ... just wondering if anyone already did the math or something to figure out what's ideal to take from the chests. <_<
