you can't really hold aggro reliably. you have taunt once every 30secs or so and lategame bosses are immune to taunts. you can certainly make build that you have hard time dying with but classical mmorpg tank role is impossible

combat readiness is for gunlancer only. Heavy armour is not really used by dps classes in endgame since most things that kill you are one shot gimmicks that dont care about defenses

no, you don't have to. you will do enough damage with tank build for clearing out current content. people just like to do things fast so they prefer dps builds. But you dont have to follow the meta

Our imaginary ability Fireball at level 10 has, say, a coeficient of 14 and flat amount of 2500, you have 5000 AP => 14*5000+2500 = 72500 (both the coefficient and the flat amount increase with abilities level). if u increase ur atk, ur only increasing the coefficient part, but if u increase dmg u increase BOTH flat and multiplier.

However, if ur atk is sky high, like 50k plus, which is avg on kr rn, the flat part dont matter

so ye atk engravings like cursed doll become better over time as we get better gear
