Okay so you can buy royal crystals to sell for gold. That's the main P2W aspect of this game. When you sell them, you can put up a sell order, meaning you're willing to sell them for X amount of gold

Buy orders are you saying "hey I'll pay X amount of gold for blue crystals"

So it's all supply and demand. You could place a buy order for 1g but nobody would want to sell to you

Yep exactly. You will most likely find one with 1 or 2 out of 3 and you save it. Then one time you will find a third, replace it so you have 3 you track and save again. Etc. I assume late late the level is also important. Getting a 3 tripod you track with just "+1" or Level 1 is rather easy
