What you want to do is combine training camp with the alt increased combat exp research which is unlocked when your stronghold is level 35. Then, you want to also focus on dailies that have combat exp potions.

Was just in Tranquil Karkosa and we lost a person, but were somehow doing Phase1 and Phase2 rotation seemingly OK ... somehow? (Maybe there's a bit of tolerance in orbs?) --- but everyone had some kinda massive bleed/DoT during Phase 2. Didn't have time to check wtf it was that was killing me but I was a 100k HP GL with heavy armor 3 and it ate my shield, and almost killed me through a potion...

you get a new set at 1370, that set is base ilv 1340 (legendary set from argos/hard mode abyssal dungeon) which you get a +6 when you transfer hone from your +15, netting you 1370 for free

yes to all of those, but with a caveat, I would recommend upgrading one armor at a time to +15

if you get lucky with your earlier you +15 hones, you can use some of the books on +13 for the last 1-2 pieces

Your stats are affected by your accessories and ability stones mainly. Your attack power and bonus effects from weapon does contribute to it. After a certain ilvl, the attack power goes from small increments to a huge leap in damage. In t3, I believe around 1430 is where the discrepancy in attack power becomes really clear.
