to get t2 gear you need to be 600 and either finish yorn questline then run chaos dungeons, or you can buy them from the auction house
t3 you have to get all of them from chaos dungeons so if you're unlucky and don't get a full set you're going to have to wait

Yeah, I've used it a couple of times. For the books or the % mats, there's a point where it will stop telling you to buy them and a point where it will start telling you to buy them.

The actual point for a 10% book might actually be a bit different than 10% of the converted gold value of a swing just because of artisan energy building or other stuff, I guess.

You can always try it out and plug in something really low like 200g for a honing book or 10g for a solar grace and confirm it starts telling you to buy

Because you're not tanking things even as Gunlancer. You still want to be doing damage, which is why those sets are still the BiS ones. Lostwind is the easiest and budget set, Light of Salvation is way, way, way, way, way, way down the line. People won't be pushing Holy damage bonuses on that set until like a year plus from now.

@dusty warren Also don't chase card sets too heavily. Lostwind you can activate fairly easily, but you still gotta put some time into farming for the Solas cards on alts, and getting Seria from Wandering Merchants. Rest of the cards require a bit of luck and Rapport investment.

Also like LucentGlow said, get the hard mode weapon (probably a few other pieces of gear too) but keep the hard mode weapon as you work on Argos armor. Armor is just cheaper material wise and you can get all those pieces faster if you exclude the weapon for a bit.
