Yeah then just keep progressing through with your main and take the mats that you get from your alts (Also I don't recommend having double support alt cus y'know I did that and I kind of regret making the bard now lol, but this is my opinion and you can take it as you will.)
Once you get your main to T2 you can research in the lab to get higher honing chances with less requirements for your alts.

You can't transfer tripods from the gear you're currently wearing because it destroys the gear that the tripod is in, so you need to get pieces from dungeons that have the diffrent tripod levels you need and transfer them into your current gear, pick and choose carefully what you need the most.

U just kinda gotta know which are which, catch up islands are islands that give you mats and u wanna do those on main theres like 20 or so of them. Other islands u can do on alts just fine, adventure islands which are a time limited event each day are the ones tjat give gold(sometimes)
