sharpshooter is good. Artillerist can do more damage but artillerist is high skill cap because the damage is delayed and bosses move around alot. So you have to have good game mechanics and awareness + knowledge of attack patterns to get value from artillerist. Sharpshooter is infinitely more flexible.

The easier way to look at it, is to just imagine your blue crystals AS gold. Since blue crystals are bought from gold. If you can (hypothetically) buy 95 blue crystals for 600 gold, and solar protection is going for 150 blue crystals for 3, and 560 gold for one; then YES, it's worth.

Because you could either buy 200 crystals for like 1500 gold and get 3, or spend 1800 raw gold on the AH for 3

Field Bosses spawn globally at the start of every hour and can only be killed once a day, what I like to call Regional Bosses respawn a set amount of time after they're last killed (usually 30m to 2hrs) and can be killed as many times a day as you can you find them

Estoque has decent speed and good resistances and you can stick with it. Astray has best speed and okay resistances. Eibern's wound is killer for dead waters.
