That is the reason. It just takes longer because content you enter grouped that you could enter solo is scaled to the amount of players. This applies to Cube, regular Guardian, not weekly Guardian, and Chaos Dungeon. However you mostly only ever solo Chaos because it goes faster and you can optimize it very slightly for a small amount of extra rewards.

That is not how it works. You Awaken cards by consuming another one of the same card and it increases by each level. So first Awakening is 1+1, Second is 1+2, 1+3 etc. So you need x16 cards of same card in total for Lv5. Do not Awaken cards unless it's 1 of the 4 sets that aren't garbage.

Yeah once attained is achieve it should be unlocked in Stronghold. But attaining i802 also -50% reduces you accessories. So you have to pick your poison. Let's say you have 500 crit and you get i802 your new crit will be 250. That is why I recommend doing Yorn with 5/6 pieces before you attain i802 so you don't have to do Yorn with absolute garbage stats. It doesn't matter THAT much because your attack power will be increased by a ton if you get i802 so it's still easy and you can start the research right away.

Look. The normal way to do this is you are i600. You go to Yorn and do main story. Once that is done you unlock Yorn Chaos Dungeon. The first one is i600. In that chaos dungeon i802 gear drops. If you get full set from 1-2 Chaos Dungeon that is your daily limit you are i802. And at this point the research would be unlocked to you.
