Whenever your main character reaches the next tier and your alts materials can no longer help, you pick the next character you want to level and funnel the materials in to that one. The characters that are funneling will also be stacking up harmony shards since those can not be funneled. That will make gearing them a little easier as time goes on as well.

hello, i am having trouble doing the gem and battle item quest in the training grounds.. when i go to the training grounds i cant do the quest or get any promots to do them D:

mm i recommend going higher than +2 only after having your main reach t2, as the t1 research will significantly cut down on material costs

yeah it's just a silver cost and free bonus

that im not sure. I assume you only get however many it gives you for 6runs/week

according to what the abyss dungeon coin restrictions say

you can only complete abyssal raids once per week

they wont even let you enter on that same character if youve completed it or left early
