Sorry lose is the wrong word to use, you get more materials the higher level chaos dungeon you do so you want to upgrade past the low level dungeons then do the higher ones, doing the shushire quest chain allows you to skip doing to first dungeons to get your upgradeable gear

@marsh ingot It's not mandatory, if you have a good party that works together to group mobs for efficiency and knows how to maximize loot rewards using that tiny-guide I just wrote it's fine. Yea so 2 of them gives 6 nodes which achieves lvl 2 but getting the engraving itself to lvl 2 improves the effect
