to my understanding, it's like a chest of reward, much like the main rewards like chaos dungeon u can get twice a day, the checkbox before u enter guardian raid allows u to choose whether u want to enable that reward chance on the boss, sometimes u wnna save it for the next boss, for example if u know u can reach the next tier the same day

Feel like I must be missing something about alts. Was given the impression that they are [important] to your mains. Yet I found out Island rewards for Mats only give out once. So my alts are mostly stuck in the low 300s.

As it stands, my main is pushing for item level 600, and the mat costs are getting so high that my 2 alts doing their daily chaos/guardians aren't mustering enough to justify 1 attempt to upgrade, bar a failed go.

If we can't effectively level our alts, how are they really much of any help to mains? (aside of chaos/guardians, what else can they help with? Points on dailies and thats it?)
