Right. Your main and alts presumably all on Tier 1, when main gets to T2 you’ll want to improve the alts. It doesn’t mean you can’t upgrade alts gradually with main but the idea is to get the main to the next tier first. You’ll get some mats that aren’t transferable so use those to improve alt

This is how it was for us at release. Back then we had to restart steam to make the button active, though I doubt that'll work this time. The servers came up almost exactly an hour late. Right now every server is still in maintenance mode so nobody can play, though. We launch and there are no servers available at all.

You can't make major mistakes really. My recommendation is to check side quests if you intended to skip them and do any you find that has engraving books as rewards that is pretty much it.

No, if you can't even launch the game its probably on your end. So far you should be able to launch it but when you come to server list it should tell you an error as the server's are down.
