yeah moveing the character with a stick changes the game and it feels so great. Ranged classes suffer a bit though as aim becomes character rotation dependant and although some casts can be aimed with mouse most skills fire off directly where your character is facing, and the front is not obvious! (eg artillerists holds gun off to side at an angle but you can get used to it and move your character INTO the direction of your shots to aim true)

Strongholds are unlocked relatively early in Lost Ark, before you start travelling around the world. After completing the story quest “To the Glorious Wall”, you’ll be taken to East Luterra. Few quests in that continent will then unlock the guide quest for Strongholds.

Don’t waste resources pretty much make sure you spend the resources on the character you want to play. You don’t need to have secondary characters in this game. I’ve played one character for years on Russian servers and I’ve always been fine. I would say make sure to find a main first and progress with that on as far as enchanting gear goes. Don’t waste resources on a character you don’t like. If you want to level another character that’s fine go ahead.

The end game content for Lost Ark is Chaos Dungeons, Abyssal Dungeons, Guardian Raids, and The Tower.

Chaos Dungeons is the primary starting point for gear progression. What it asks you to do is battle wave of enemies through three different stages and you have to batter all foes in each stage within five minutes. You can complete this solo or in a group, and it’s a daily activity that can be completed twice.

Abyssal Dungeons are next and they are Chaos Dungeons with better rewards because of a higher spike in difficulty. These can only be completed once a week.

Guardian Raids is a daily activity described as Monster Hunter battles. You get dropped on a map, search zones looking for a boss, and then you have to defeat the boss before the timer ends. What makes it really difficult is that there’s a limited number of revivals and consumables for your team.

Lastly, The Tower is a solo dungeon crawler. It’s a challenge that tasks YOU with progressing further up the Tower with each level more difficult than the last with better rewards.

In addition to all of the above, there are also periodic world activities like Chaos Gates, Field Bosses, and Ghost Ships. These can be seen via the in-game tracker.

Each of the Lost Ark end game content comes with gear, upgrade materials, and other rewards.

Chaos Dungeons offer base level gear along with resources to upgrade said rewards. It also bestows players with accessories. Completing the highest level of Chaos Dungeons will earn you the highest level of prizes.

Guardian Raids reward accessories too, along with gems, runes, books, and cards. They also drop upgrade materials not bound to your character which means you can sell them or give them to an alt character.

As for the Tower, you get better rewards the higher you climb. You will be rewarded with a more valuable item every time you climb five stairs.

The term "Downward attack" is mentioned NOWHERE and its not a key term so do I really have to check all animations to see what has a downward attack?

The passive "Ready Attack" increases downward attack power for 3 seconds. 3 seconds for all downward attacks from all sources? the skill itself is only 1 downward attack so that would make no sense to just increase that power by 10% for one attack and mention it lasts for 3 seconds.

The other one "Destroyer" increases the outgoing damage (so like "Ready attack" just on all attacks by that skill?) Knocks foes into the air when hit by A downward attack.... the downward attack at the end of the combo? Or any downward attack.

Yeah, the problem is that either you had your last reinstall years ago and your background apps eating everything up. Or your resolution is bad for some reason it can be driver related or game side. So "no" for an answer if you are asking for help is a nice way to get nowhere. I need you to check if the stutter persists on the lower resolution.
