One of the engravings in the game. You need 20 of them to learn the skill to be able to equip it. Then to upgrade it further, you'll need 20 of the blue books of the same skill [Alt]+[I} shows all the engravings in the game (That apply to your class on the class side and all the general ones)
This one in particular is the one the game starts you off with and is (In my opinion) fairly useless

Correct I have a level 30 on Kadan but want to move to Thirain, so I'm wondering if it's worth me going 30-50 on Kadan and having a secondary on Thirain. Or just ditching Kadan altogether and starting at 1.

Just used appearance coupon on my char, but it didn't change my char's appearance
(When I go into the appearance menu again, it shows as a the char changed though, aka in-game char and after-used coupon doesn't match up)

well like I said, you'll need to start everything over again. so yeah you can get pass on any server, but they are their own progression, since you'll need to reach lvl 50 for the pass etc.
