it's UE3 so its not really that well optimized for multicore but with DX11 the loading times got a lot better so they are working on it. If you have something like a 5950X the CPU goes super wild on loading screens because one core is getting hammered 😄

There isn't any one that is the correct answer. Until you can figure it out yourself I guess my advice would be anyone that has any kind of gold reward for simplicity. But after you've gained some experience it's something you should dive into yourself and look at what you'd like from the rewards from the NPCs because majority are rather large investments

The price at start is too steep. My usage of Knowledge will depend on when I come to any kind of halt on my main and I'd look into alt. What my gold situation was looking currently and what gold I can expect in the near future. I'd weigh that into my decision. But it's not something I can't possibly know now and only theorize.

I still don't know how much gold is gained from Rohendel Abyss and Yorn Abyss. I can't ask RU players because they don't get gold from T1 and T2.

Indirectly they do because each time you complete a daily/weekly Una you gain Una badges you trade in at Una NPC for gold. The more alts you have the sooner you get it but even with only 1 character you'd still get it in 1 weeks time.

say if the server capacity is not that big and kadan fills up instantly on launch date, you're gonna have a lot of players flooding other servers as well, just so they can play without server queue. in that case, it hardly matters what you and your friend picks, there will be a variety of guilds on every server.

Take that scenario 3 months down the line, if lost ark goes thru the same downfall as new world, every server will be emptied out, and only hardcore servers might carry enough population to do anything. In that case, trying to get a spot on Kadan might be the best, or pray for server migration

If lost ark thrives, then any server should be fine unless u want to fight/be part of the top of the top, the hardcore of the hardcore pvp guilds.

Now on the other hand, there are rewards for ranking top x in gvg content iirc, so if you are in a sparsely populated server, u might be able to secure a top spot everytime.

TL;DR its in the hands of the player mentality and probably how AGS runs the game too

Knowledge Transfer is essentially a boost for gold system as an alternative to the paid boosts. When you get your first character to a certain point, in this case complete Vern, then you will be able to "boost" another character to that point in the story as a sort of "story skip" by paying gold.

Completing the character creation process will reserve the name for that character. Character names are not automatically released again after character deletion. Releasing names for re-use is a manual process that we will likely run at some point in the future but it is not something we expect to do regularly or start doing in the near future.
