So what is the guild member cap for guilds in the game? Is there guild levels that allow for different member caps?

just getting guild exp and for that your guild members have to check in daily. that gives the guild exp and you use that for guild research. guild members get bloodstones as return an can use those in the guild store for rewards. you might get some extra exp from GvG/GvE but thats on in at launch.

Yeah I usually base my play time vs the cost of the game. If I put like, 50~ hours into it and enjoy it, then $50 CAD is worth it.

But, at the same time, when a game is F2P, I always find it difficult to justify buying a pre purchase. (EG: Heck, I've never spent a single cent on League.)

Not really, because the leveling is linear, going out of your way doing random stuff albeit you can do that but it's a waste of time. Most of the time you are only doing quests in your vicinity if not you are tracking quests you are going towards
