you are taking the file from the RU folder, editing it and then adding it into the NA/EU version folder when you download the game, the only difference being in the video you are taking the file from beta folder, even with the beta preset, KR/JP/RU preset there is no guarantee that any of them will work properly on the launch version as they have said the launch build will be different

its just relative value anyway 🙂 i think northern lawmaker is ugly, having multiple pets for different stats is really minmax, if you dont plan to have more than 6 chars the slots are wasted etc.

but just having the aura and gems is already kinda good value. You get more gems if you spend 100 straight on RC but overall the relative value is there.

while there are classes that earn huge benefits from their class engravings, I must say that it is pretty equal, just choose your main and invest in it early on. Getting 1 to t3 will give you more benefits than just getting 3 characters to lvl 50

Any of the supports (pal/bard/warlord) are more reactionary, classes like berserker, scrapper, or shadowhunter are more spammy and don't really have a rotation.

every class will kinda have a rotation (since you will have to deal with boss mechanics, and random movements, you may not fully utilize a certain rotation anyway), but bards are very situational classes.

Yeah, there's just more than the 1 VPN provider. Try a different one and see if it's better. It might be either the VPN has a bad route to the Russian nodes (If it never worked well before) or your ISP has bad connection to the VPN server

ive heard that blaster has a ton of potential for damage, with combos that can just melt hp, but it can be a challenge to pull them off because of how delayed his abilities can be. Early on, he can be a noob stomper, but in higher ranks he starts to fall off. anything has potential to be insane based on the player though.

Considering that you can try out endgame tier stuff at level 50 (Guardian raids - Icy Legoros and Vertus can be a good test) all you lose is actually leveling to 50, and by the time you're 50 you will have a good understanding of the class as well as how much you like it. Then doing the early "end game" content will show you how easy/hard it is for you (As I believe it is subjective any way)

character specific, alts are mostly to do dailies and funnel resources to your main. Since dailies are the thing that gets your main progress gated

Fair point. But ultimately it's a bit wasteful not to do endgame content with alts and unfortunately no. You cannot unlock additional character slots without paying real money. But then again, there's no upfront cost for the game and I think that the regular $60 price tag on games will go a long way in unlocking character slots

It depends, rapport is account-wide. I believe you can't do the same una daily task on an alt (otherwise you could make extra progress towards una rep per day and I don't think they want that)

No problem, it’s best to join guilds on all your characters to claim the guild rewards (I’ve watched a video last night) about Alts and how they’re strong in the game because you can transfer all the mats to your main because apparently once you hit 1400ish+ in item rating? Things get costly so alts (30mins to do all of the dailies) will help a lot the dude I watched had like 15 characters all in different guilds lol

Another question I have, if you play the game but you cant reach the gear required for the latest tier 3 in time, and the new tier 3 content comes out, does the previous one become obsolete? Also is t1 and t2 the same as t3 but easier, or is it different stuff?

t1 and t2 are very "samey" but the reason we got T3 immediately is actually because it has the coolest content. All the crazy raids you might have seen etc are in t3.

its all vertical progression so a lot of the content becomes obsolete but ppl have still alts in the lower tiers so there are always people to play with. also later we just get boost events that level up new characters straight away to t3

yea you have to do them all, lets say you upgrade your purple set to +15, that gets you high enough to do the next thing that gives you a legendary set

then you upgrade that to +xx and now you unlock the next raid

yea they are like expansions or mayor content patches in other mmos. PvP is not affected by these tiers. It has its own seasons but there are some PvP islands in each tier.

Talking about pve, not really a pvp player:

Soulfist is very dependant on hitting that spirit bomb, if you miss your dps will sink by a lot. The class itself has many mechanics to help make it fluid, but still the bomb is your main source of dps, it does huge dmg. The bomb have a long cast time which can become a liability

Wardancer is a fluid class, have some rotations, some burst, some constant dps, a big thing for it is that the signature thing is not really used (engraving will not use the gauge system, may change in future balance patches). Timing your party buff is key too, the buff is very strong, but the duration is not super big.
