With the rate I'm currently leveling up, I think I'll hit level 50 before finding all 7 arks. Does anyone know if I can do end-game content as soon as I hit 50, or if finding all 7 arks is necessary to progress to end-game?

Specialization
Specialization varies depending on your class, but is all about your special skills, the Class Identity, aka your Z ability. I get the following for 126 stat points:
Burst Skill Damage +28.55 percent
Blade Art meter recovery through attacks +14.27 percent
Skill Cooldown Reduction bu Blade Art +7.13 percent
Awakening Skill damage +13.63 percent.

Domination
Domination is the damage you deal to disabled enemies, whether they ared staggered or Debuffed. I have 85 stat points in here and I get the following:
Damage to Pushed to Debuffed foes +10.32 percent
Damage dealt to Staggered foes +12.02 percent

Swiftness
Swiftness is primarily for how fast you attack, movement around and cooldown reduction. I have 84 stat points in here and I get the following:
Attack Speed +2.85 percent
Move Speed +2.85 percent
Skill Cooldown -3.57 percent

Endurance
Endurance is all about defense and healing. I have 48 stat points in here and I get the following:
Physical Defense +7.77 percent
Magical Defense +7.77 percent
Shields +2.42 percent
Healing +3.40 percent

Expertise
Expertise is all about Debuff duration, that you inflict on enemies or they inflict on you. I have 1 stat point in here and I get the following:
The duration of debuffs you cast on foes +0.08 percent
The duration of debuffs cast on you is -0.007 perecnt
Stagger damage bonus +0.005 percent

most of it was just raw dps tests through recording total outgoing damage, as well as looking at what that class brought to the table buff/debuff wise - in every game people are going to want to be the most efficient, sometimes it makes sense like when I first started playing and the sharpshooter just dropped in KR, I noticed he was significantly weaker than the devil hunter and it just kinda felt bad to put in the same effort for lower damage, but overall most classes feel good and what's most important is having fun

Yeah seems a bit silly especially because what you're able to do from fight to fight and how you play it changes significantly. Even in beta I noticed on summoner that some fights I was constantly having to move and it was hard to get an ancient spear in and in other it was like I could just stand there and hammer the boss because most of their mechanics were more melee focused

You can abuse Power Pass for that. If you rush to 50 and do Vern main story then you can just create an alt with Power Pass that will have completed every single yellow quest including Shushire that you haven't even visited with your main

You will have Unas unlocked from Power Pass then. All that are affected by it ofc, not Island stuff etc

I only made an alt to unlock Unas, get nature points and also adv book % from alt completing all of the Another Story and getting 100% triport in all continents

You also use these coins to convert to pirate coin whenever you need those for either ship materials or w/e. Me personally I'm going for Astray ship as early as possible and that costs 300k pirate coins. It's just a meme ship for flexing so I don't recommend any new players to do that :d

It's like the last step. So depending on how long it took you to get to Vern... for an experienced Veteran 11-15hr. For new players probably in the region of 13-30hr. It's hard to tell because everyone plays their first playthrough differently. But you need to be Lv50 to even progress Vern main story

A lot of people complained during technical alpha that they had trouble even reaching 50 in the first place and let alone on a another class. This is a middle ground to help people to be able to try out multiple classes so they can make a better/well informed choice of main for launch

What usually is done with alts is to trade over any materials needed for upgrading your ilvl that isn't bound to your main. So your main will progress faster and your alts only use bound materials
