But yea, i got 4 relic cores and 2 legendary. 150 essence. So almost there for another relic core. but doing a4 each week is like 6-12 more at best so it's pretty brural and slow.

I only did akkan 1 and a half times with groups. first time i was on pally and didn't really die but the group was kinda toxic and giving me heat even when other people caused the restart. but cleared 3 gates. 1 shot g2 and 3.

And another time i was on a 1593 sg, cruel fightered g1 while learning it, then dc'ed but they continued without me while i was in discord vc with them. So i left that discord. and quit the game til i last came back lul.

i did aegir nm without prog, told the group. They said i did fine. But hm i had to do with the same group i was progging brel nm v2 with. And the g1 lasers were scary for me to learn. But i did. and was confident pretty fast, but then the lead/sup/teacher quit the game, and i stopped doing it. Completely forgot the symbols and last time i tried to pug it, i didn't remember it anymore so i stopped doing it.

Brel nm v2 i got super confident with since reps from progging and felt good to hit that 33+ % dps at times. But since solo version and mokoko coins. I just solo now.

Every counter pattern, jg pattern, and destruction check in there outside of 240x takes a big chunk of stagger off the boss, so doing those things correctly lets you get to rumble faster for the big dps burst it offers

So familiarize yourself with those patterns

It's a massive help, but at the same time, i found it easy to meet and clear dps requirements at t3 for whatever reasons initially, but since i know the game pretty well now, i can push my cp higher than it needs to be to learn normal modes for things i havn't done. Big roster helped, though no funneling anymore. Still get things like gems, and books from paradise. Though i bought all the books i needed with the price drop from frod. But yea, back in the day. was super stressful to learn raids and perform well. but at the same time was sooo many more people that there were many discords and groups.

I do find the raids now more chill cause of revives. BUT raid wipes are still a thing so, u either get, or u don't. and that's why when i asked here. the first thing i was concerned about was raid wipe mechs. Which g2 serca def seems to have at 240 lul.

Well legendary books are such an old system they are probably the biggest gold to damage gain out there by a huge margin at your ilvl. Having full legendary engravings is an absolute bare minimum for group content

I know gold can be tight for low level rosters though. If you're only doing solo content, can wait untl the June update and plan to use the Express event on that character than you could choose to wait for the free books included in it.

Or buy the books and use the free books later to finish other important engravings for other characters

legendary engravings also tend to fluctuate as people try to dump, somebody resets the market, people slowly crash it, and on and on forever. you can likely get a full set of any engraving for under 1k gold if you're patient and vigilant

you can likely get a full set of all but the very most sought after ones for a couple hundred gold if you're patient and diligent

and yeah there'll almost certainly be 5 full legendary engravings provided with the express, so if you save those for the most expensive ones available you can ignore trying to worry about those for a couple of weeks and just pick up cheap ones that you may need

Hello, I just came back to the game today and honestly I’m completely lost. I have a Valkyrie with an item level of 1585.

I watched a few videos saying that I should push my item level to 1640 to properly get back into the game. My whole old roster is around 1600 ilvl and I’d like to start playing all my characters again.

Also, I don’t understand the quests anymore. When I open the quest journal, I have no idea which quests I should do to progress through the story and unlock the next raids, etc.

If anyone could explain things a bit, that would be awesome!

in the guide tab, there should be quests that tell u which is the next area to go to

ilvl wise tho, ur going to be honing slowly til the next event in 2 weeks where u can powerpass a char to 1640

so ig dont bother with that class yet

You're at the point where you need to manually hone to 1620, and then transfer gear sets which will take you to the start of tier 4 (1640). In June we're expected to get the next powerpass and express events (ilvl 1640 boost on any character, express generally saves you months of progress to ilvl ~1700).

Realistically, the character that gets the powerpass and express will be your main whether it is an existing character, or a new one

You can screenshot the quest log and we can help out with which quest is important for progression, that said, we have weekly maintenance atm so servers are down.

If you wanna take some time to familiarize yourself with the controls, systems, raids/combat etc again, definitely feel free. The rest of your roster similarly wants to try to aim for 1620 to make it to T4. Make sure to buy stuff from the solo shop like fusions for honing.

Every class has its learning curve. Front attacking is one of them and it's fine. Front attack is no biggie. Your kit is designed to handle it

It's a fairly easy class. Requires knowledge of boss patterns to get your full flury of punches off on the bosses front. Your semi locked in for 5 seconds

With ark grid you enter the punches way more often too. There was more recent qol to make some minor movement adjustment when punching

You're fast, lots of movement skills, 2 counter, good stagger and weak point. A fun identity. You have a shield on X that you can activate anytime, without animation, even mid animation of another skill

The shield is an amazing "of fuck save me" to tank stuff

It lasts 3 seconds but if you get hit while you shield it'll actually last longer. It's designed to tank for you

Likely a 1640 powerpass. A story skip to finish almost the whole story, skip over tier 3 right into tier 4.

You want stuff like crit/spec/swift as needed for your class, then either damage or supportive lines. Stuff like dex/str/int is considered a weaker but still helpful line. Hp helps some for supports. Left is better here.

Expertise and domination are largely considered dead stats

Don't sweat the t3 bracelets much, or even relic t4 tbh. You'll end up parking on a t4 ancient

you still pick a directino to go, fight enemies, get chests at the end

but if you die, you lose a life (you only start with one), and if you die after you're out of lives you fail the run and dont get anything. in most cases you're better off stopping the run if you've run out of lives
