My main character finished the North Kurzan story line, which permanently deleted Zinnervale from the map due to plot progression. However, my main still has the purple roster quest 'Trapped in the Trial' active. Because Zinnervale is missing, my main cannot complete it. The 'Abandon' button is greyed out. When I try to do the quest on my alternate characters to bypass it, they receive a 'Locked by another character in the roster' error. So what must i do?

My advice is to just wait until the June update. You’ll need to do some story, but not much. Like the new area or two then done. At least you won’t have like a million hours of dialogue before you can start doing any decent content.
Most optimally you’d start now, but it’s kind of a slog if you aren’t looking for story and other slower forms of content.

It's Tier 3 so it ultimately doesnt matter tbh. At 1640 youll move to Tier 4 and need a whole new bracelet. At 1680 youll move from that relic bracelet to an ancient one (You can however upgrade the relic t4 to ancient t4)

while some classes have narrower floor to ceiling gap, a lot of it mostly comes down to raid experience and gear. Just pick whatever looks aesthetically pleasing to you, and you'll make it work regardless. The only thing to consider is that some classes have a burst style gameplay where they build meter and spend meter, but all classes require good uptime to get good damage.
Another thing to consider is whether you'd enjoy positional attacks, or just going oonga boonga from any direction.
