destiny(karma) you're pretty much set for life, but if your qualities are like 100 weapon 90+ armors, then up to you, if you're a dps karma will/can still give a tiny amount of power

Yes, they have different base cost, the lower the easier for them to fit in, making your build easier/faster to get

The astrogems start with a cost, 8, 9 or 10. Its usually easier to start with the 8 cost ones to activate the cores

Cores have a budget & effects that turn on with point
Astrogems use budget & provide points for core effects.

When you cut astrogems, as a beginner the only thing that matters is Red (budget) & Yellow (points)

Points in budget reduce the total budget cost. Exp. 8 budget to start, you roll 4 on it when cutting. Total final budget 8-4 = 4.
More budget reduction = less budget consumed = more astrogems you can equip to a core.
More Yellow points = more core effects you can activate

You want a mix of high budget reduction + high points to optimally activate more core effects for each ark grid core

The left and right effects on astrogems you can basically ignore for a long time. Ideally long long term you can min.max those for more damage/support effects but the majority of your ark grid power comes from the core effects.
If you played in Tier 3, its similar to how you wanted 40 set elixirs first then you min/max good individual elixirs

The Arkesia Tour will have you complete a number of simple quests and reward you with a large amount of horizontal & collectable completion including more skill points & addition skill runes to help your build.

If a Mokoko Express is ongoing, activate it from an icon beside your minimap. It will provide free items to help with the process above as well as provide things like honing support to make progression easer. There is only 1 Mokoko Express per region so choose your character carefully!

Congrats, you now have a functional build to start trying activities like daily Chaos Dungeons, Guardians & weekly Solo Raids.

I suppose that depends on the progress of those cores now and if you have astrogems to cut & improve them

A purple core with no gems going to ancient with gems would make a huge difference.
A leg core with 14 points going to relic and maybe only unlocking 17 points is smaller

Assuming theyre the same probably the red core. But it might be class dependent if that core has good lines

Need the research from the lab. Stronghold farm isn’t very efficient as a heads up compared to normal life skilling.

Make sure you've done the research like Eric mentioned. Then crafting items using the SH Farm falls under the Special tab in the lab

Its seperate from the regular fusions
